48-Hour National Registry Recertification

Class Times are 8:00am to 6:30pm

Day 1: Airway, Respiratory Distress, O2, Communications Day 2: PALS, Pediatrics, OB (AHA PALS Certification) Day 3: Trauma Day 4: ACLS, Medical Emergencies (AHA ACLS Certification) Day 5:  Medical Emergencies, Newborn Care

24-Hour Emergency Medical Technicians Refresher

Basic EKG Recognition

1- Basic rhythm understanding.

2- Relationship between ECG strip and heart impulses.

3- Common arrhythmias.

4- Identifying and distinguishing various arrhythmias. 

This 4-hour class was developed specially by EMT Associates. It is available by request.

(GEMS) Geriatric Education for Emergency

GEMS is offered as a basic Core course and an Advanced course. Both courses are appropriate for EMTs, paramedics, emergency medical responders, nurses, physician assistants, and physicians. The 8-16 hour courses enhance the competence, confidence, and compassion of EMS practitioners in responding to geriatric patients.

(REAM) Rapid Evaluation Assessment & Management

This course is designed to assist nurses and medics to identify patients at risk for deterioration, recognizing the signs of impending trouble, reacting appropriately in the event of an emergency, summoning help when needed, and assisting Rapid Response Teams, Code Teams, or other care providers.
