Kimonui Holgen, MPH
Kimonui Holgen began his career in Emergency Medicine as an EMT and worked his way up through the ER and various capacities until he eventually earned a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of Hawaii. While working in the public health field he has also been teaching EMS associated courses and college and university courses for over 15 years. His training company has been contracted by EMT associates for over 10 years. He is also a Regional Faculty for the American Heart Association for ACLS, PALS, and BLS and is the current Vice-Chair of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care Committee for Oregon. His passion is helping people grow, expand and push their limits and he accomplishes this by consulting, teaching, working in critical care and participating in medical missions in third world countries. Tom Apelar
Tom is currently an EMT-Paramedic with Douglas County Fire District #2 in Oregon. He also works for the U.S. Forest Service as a line Paramedic and Medical Unit Leader for the Incident Management Teams. Tom’s career began in 1986 as a Firefighter First Responder later transitioning to a Medical Specialist/Combat Medic in the US Army. His Paramedic training was completed at Tacoma Community College.
Tom has worked in a variety of settings including ambulances in Seattle, Tacoma, a Level II Trauma Center with both ground and fixed wing services, and rural/wilderness EMS for 7 years on an Indian Reservation . Tom has also been a Community College Instructor in California and Oregon in First Responder, EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate and Paramedic as well as maintaining Instructor credentials with AHA in ACLS, BLS, PALS and is an instructor for PHTLS, AMLS, EPC and First Aid.

Pam & Mike Foote
Pam and Mike Foote are American Heart Association CPR, First Aid and AED Instructors. Mike is also an EMT-Intermediate and Emergency Medical Dispatcher as well as ACLS certified. Pam has been an EMT Intermediate but now devotes time to raising awareness for pet first aid and dog CPR.
