Providing specialty Emergency Medical Training

What is CNA II?
Oregon has two levels of CNAs (CNA I and CNA II), with distinct curriculum requirements, evaluation methods and authorized duties. To be recognized as a CNA II, an individual is required to hold a current, unencumbered CNA I certificate and complete a nursing assistant level II training program. CNA I's are not required to  become CNA II's.

CNA II is divided into three areas of speciality. Acute Care -often a hospital setting, Restoritive Care - often a rehabilitation setting, and Dementia Care - often a memory care setting. Please choose the links to the right to explore difference in tasks for each area of speciality.
